Programme for the Visit in Teuva 17th -21st May 2010



Monday 17th May

- at about 16.00 departure to Vaasa to meet the visitors. Gathering in front of Teuva secondary school.
- 17.30 the visitors from Madrid arrive at Vaasa airport
- 18.00 - 19.00 Transportation to Teuva
- at about 19.00 Parents meet theirs guests in front of the school. Pupils spend the evening with the host families.

Tuesday 18th May

-8.55 school starts. Principal Tuomo Pesonen wishes the visitors welcome in the school auditorium. A dvd on Teuva. A tour of the school until lunch.
-10.45-11.15 Lunch.
-11.15-12.00 Lessons. (Visitors follow their hosts)
-12.10-12.55 Lessons. (Visitors follow their hosts)
-13.05-13.50 Lessons. (Visitors follow their hosts)
-14.00 Schoolday ends
-17.00 Departure to Parra leasure area by private cars. Sports clothes, swimsuits and towels with! Orienteering, mölkky, sauna, grilling of sausages. A Teuva quiz. Catering and cleaning all of us together. Back home at 22.00.


Wednesday 19th May

-8.55 school starts.
-9.00-10.30 A pesäpallo (Finnish baseball) match in the school sports field. Mixed teams of the Fiins and the Spanish. Sports clothes with!
-10.45-11.15 Lunch.
-11.15-13.50 Cooking and having traditional Finnish food in the Cookery class.
-14.00 Schoolday ends.
-For students: the rest of the day free time with families.
-For teachers an outing to Lauhavuori at 14.00
15.00-16.00 Nature trail.
16.15 A meal in the wilderness (Marian luontoateriat)
17.15 back to Teuva
Thursday 20th May

- 10.00 School starts
- 10.15-10.45 Lunch
- 11.00 Start for a bus tour. First to Häjyliike ( a Fan Shop of Lauri Tähkä) in Teuva.
- 11.30 To Lapväärtti
- 12.00 Clothes Shop Vonne's.
- 13.00 Coffee in ABC (hosts treat their guests coffee).
- 13.30 To Kristiinankaupunki.
- 14.00 A guided tour/promenade of Kristiinankaupunki.
- 15.00-17.00 Free time in Kristiinankaupunki.
- 17.00-18.30 Dinner in restaurant Pavis by the sea.
- 18.30 To Kaskinen
- 19.00 A Ferry trip to Eskilsö Island. Boutique Blue&Belle.
- 20.30 To Teuva

Friday 21st May

-8.55 School starts. Visitors can store their suitcases in the cookery class.
-9.00-10.45 students make in pairs (host - guest) a description of the visit into lo-net2 presenting 2-3 best of their photos with texts. The last moments with the visitors!
-10.45-11.15 Lunch.
-11.15 Visitors to Vaasa airport.
